RAMBAN, Oct 23: Decomposed body of a missing woman was recovered from Chamalwas area of Banihal near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, here today.
As per police sources, decomposed body of a missing woman was recovered from Chamalwas area of Banihal near Jammu Srinagar National Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Missra Begum (38), wife of Irshad Ahmed Mir, a resident of Bankoot, Tehsil Banihal, District Ramban. She was missing since last week of September, 2020.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to SDH Banihal for autopsy.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Banihal Police in this regard.
