JAMMU, Mar 28: The decomposed body of a missing man was recovered today from the canal in Trikuta Nagar area.
According to a police official, the decomposed body of an unknown man was spotted today by a rag picker from a heap of silt and waste in the canal near Grand Inn Hotel. He said the deceased was later identified as a migrant labourer namely Arjun Kumar son of Bhalla, who was residing at Trikuta Nagar.
“A missing complaint of the deceased man was registered in October last year in police station Trikuta Nagar, ” he said, adding, the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while Trikuta Nagar police had taken cognizance of the matter.
