UDHAMPUR, Feb 8: DDC Ghordi, Rakesh Chander Sharma today kick started the construction work for developing Shaheed Rajneesh Stadium at Ghordi.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said: ” This stadium shall be accessed by about 20000 people of DDC constituency Ghordi and youth will get a platform to sharpen their sports skills for bright future.
“If our youth are provided with adequate support, facilities and opportunities to sharpen their talent right from the beginning, they can excel even at international level,” he added.
Prominent among those, who were present on the occasion, included Sarpanch Ghordi Khas (East) Ashok Sharma; Sarpanch Ghordi Jagir, Bharat Bhushan Sharma; Naib-Sarpanch Jagir Ghordi, Ajay Kumar Padha; senior citizen Dwarka Nath, President SVF Ghordi Varun Sharma and others.
