DDC chairs meeting of Enquiry Committees

BARAMULLA, Feb 19: Impressing upon the concerned officials of Health Department to utilize modern technologies while delivering health services in the district, District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal today directed them to work for the upgradation of infrastructure in the health institutions.
The DDC chaired a meeting of concerned officers in which a thorough review of the two recent maternal deaths which took place at Sheeri and Kreeri Primary Health Centers in the district were taken.
While directing the officials to use every type of medical facility and technology available at the health institutions in service delivery, the DDC directed them to ensure that maternal and infant deaths in the district are brought to the least in the district. The DDC took a comprehensive note of the report of the enquiry committee that had been constituted for enquiring the case.
Meanwhile, the DDC also reviewed the reports of the enquiry committees in cases of ICDS and Rural Development Departments.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Mir Munnawar, Chief Medical Officer, Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo, Block Medical Officers, Medical Superintendents, CDPOs, Gynecologists and other officials attended the meeting.
