DBN Amarvilla celebrates 64th Foundation Day

JAMMU, Sept 1: Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir (DBN) Amarvilla celebrated its 64th Foundation Day with enthusiasm and pride, commemorating the institution's rich legacy and journey of excellence. MLA Jammu West and school alumnus Arvind Gupta was the special guest.

The celebration commenced with the inauguration of the statue of Dewanini Vidyavati, honouring her visionary leadership and invaluable contribution to the institution. The event was attended by Rajendra Kakkar, Manager, DBN Trust; Darshan Lal, Co-Manager, Trust; Valvinder Singh, Assistant Manager; Ranju Malhotra, Principal, DBN Amarvilla; Neetu Gupta, Principal, SNS Vidya Mandir; and Priya Singh, Principal, DBN Mubarak Mandi.

Gupta appreciated the school's efforts in nurturing students with strong values, cultural awareness and confidence. Recalling his school days, he urged students to dream big while remaining grounded in their values.

A vibrant heritage walk showcased India's cultural diversity, with students representing several States and Union Territories in traditional attire. The presentation highlighted the spirit of "Unity in Diversity". The school also presented its e-magazine, tracing DBN Amarvilla's journey through milestones and achievements. Principal Ranju Malhotra proposed the vote of thanks.
