DAK for pacing up vaccination of school staff, students

SRINAGAR, Sept 6: While welcoming the Govt’s move of reopening the schools, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today demanded vaccination of the school staff as well as the eligible students on a war footing basis.
President, DAK Dr M.Yousuf Tak, in a statement issued here, said the authorities must vaccinate the staff and students on a priority basis to achieve complete vaccination of the target group in a set time frame.
Dr Mir M. Ashraf Sr Vice President DAK said that the medico’s body has been pitching for the reopening of schools and colleges in the interest of the academic career of the students.
Dr Arshad H Trag Vice President laid stress on adhering to the COVID SOPs in letter and spirit in and around educational institutions and other public places.
Dr Owais H Dar, General Secretary DAK said that its imperative upon the school management to get the students, staff vaccinated as soon as possible and follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) religiously.
Dr Adil Wani, joint secretary DAK and Distt President-Anantnag appealed to government and health authorities to vaccinate the school staff and eligible students on war footing so that the maximum number of students can attend the schools for the betterment of the education sector.
DAK has further requests the government to bring more pace in Covid vaccination of the general public in the larger interest of the society.
