JAMMU, May 21: Jammu Central University Shaikshik Sangh today presented a charter of demands to the university Vice Chancellor, Prof Ashok Aima, highlighting the interests of academic fraternity for a better academic environment in the premises of the Central University.
The charter of the demands included issues like PhD increment, release of pending allowances, counting of past services, residential facilities, medical facilities, day care centre and facilities to be given to the CUJ faculty member working under specially abled category.
The office bearer of JCUSS, namely Prof Deepak Pathania (president), Dr Vandana Sharma (vice president), Dr Pankaj Mehta (general secretary), Dr Ajay Kumar Singh (Joint secretary), Dr Vinay Shukla (Joint secretary), Romesh Chander (press secretary), were among those in the delegation, which called on VC and submitted the charter of demands.
