NEW DELHI, Sept 10: Continuing its rising streak for the second straight day, crude palm oil prices rose 0.45 per cent to Rs 381.80 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions on the back firm demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September gained Rs 1.70 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 381.80 per 10 kg in business turnover of 82 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October contracts edged up by Re 1 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 384.30 per 10 kg in 63 lots.
Market analysts said besides rising spot market demand, restricted supplies from producing belts kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
