NEW DELHI, Dec 9: The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined to 109.25 dollars/per barrel (bbl) on December 6, an official statement said today.
This was lower than the price of 109.52 dollars/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of December 5, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined marginally to Rs 6,737.45 per bbl on December 6 as compared to Rs 6,756.29/bbl on December 5, it said.
This was due to marginally decline in price in dollar terms.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate improved a bit on December 6 to Rs 61.67/dollar against Rs 61.69/dollar on previous trading day of December 5, it added.(AGENCIES)
