JAMMU, Aug 2: Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID), Chandigarh will hold a National Seminar in University of Kashmir and an International Conference on Central Asia in Chandigarh.
It was decided in a joint meeting of a team of academicians from CRRID and faculty members of the Centre of Central Asian Studies (CCAS).
The team of academicians from CRRID headed by its Director General, Prof Sucha Singh Gill visited CCAS today and had a detail discussion with its faculty members. The meeting decided to hold a National Seminar on Central Asia in the University of Kashmir in the 2nd week of October, 2012 and an International Conference on Central Asia in March 2013 at Chandigarh.
Prof Gill said that CRRID is eager to join hands with the CCAS to boost academic excellence in the shape of visiting scholars, faculty members, undertaking joint research projects and holding Seminars and conferences.
