Srinagar, Mar 5: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today donated computers to Government Boys High School at Dhobipura in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir with an aim to promote computer education among the youths of Valley.
A CRPF spokesman said the computers, peripheral devices, furniture and other infrastructural equipments were donated to the school under overall supervision of Prabhat Kumar Sandwar, the Commandant 115 Battalion of CRPF, and the function was presided over by CRPF Deputy Inspector General North Srinagar, Sanjeev Dhundia.
While addressing students on global significance of Information Technology and Computer Science, Sanjeev Dhundia said through civic action programs, the CRPF is earnestly endeavouring hard to promote the standard of computer literacy among Kashmiri students through Infrastructural support.
“This Infrastructural support will facilitate them to nurture their competency in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science,” he said.
