POONCH, Feb 25: The weekly cross LoC bus service between Rawlakote (PoK) and Poonch (J&K) was resumed today.
Amidst tension between the two countries after Pulwama terror attack, the bus service on this route was suspended by the Indian authorities on Monday last. The trade also remained suspended for two days.
While the trade was resumed on Thursday, the bus service was also allowed to operate today. While no new guest from PoK arrived in today’s bus at Poonch, four Indians returned to their homes here. 13 passengers crossed over to that side in the bus and they included 11 PoK returnees and two J&K residents.
