JAMMU, Oct 1: Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Kishore Kumar today rejected bail application of Mukesh Kumar, a BSF jawan, who was allegedly involved in rape case registered on August 7, 2016.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “offences of abduction and rape are most serious offences against the woman”, adding “these offences against the woman have been viewed to be the offences against the society as a whole and letting the accused on bail in such offences if prima facie appears to be committed, would definitely have deleterious effect on the mind of the general public and would encourage re-occurrence of such crime”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
