JAMMU, Mar 5: Principal Sessions Judge Udhampur, R S Jain today awarded three years rigorous imprisonment to Vidya Sagar in an attack case.
The accused has been sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 6 months under Section 341 RPC. In default of making the payment of fine, the accused shall undergo imprisonment for one month. He has also been awarded imprisonment for a period of one year under Section 323 RPC. In default of making the payment of fine, the accused shall undergo imprisonment for two month.
Moreover, he has been awarded rigorous imprisonment for a period of three years under Section 325 RPC. In default of making the payment of fine, the accused shall undergo imprisonment for six months. The sentences shall run concurrently.
