RAJOURI, Sept 14: MLC Vibodh Gupta today said that each and every step will be taken to mitigate the sufferings of the border people as their security is infact country’s security.
He was speaking during a meeting with the border residents during his tour to Chalas, Shahpur and Dariyan villages, wherein he met with various cross sections of the people to understand their needs and requirements and also took stock of the various developmental works.
During these meetings, the local people informed MLC Vibodh about the problems being faced by them as a result of frequent ceasefire violations by Pakistan in the area. Many locals were worried about the education of their children which is totally disturbed as very frequently these people have to move to safer areas to save their lives. Many people raised the issue of the proper road network for all the border villages which can ensure quick mobility of these people at the time of any emergency.
Latter addressing a gathering, MLC Vibodh informed everyone that the State as well as the Central Government is fully aware of the sufferings of the border people. Therefore, the Government is taking every necessary step to ensure a safe and secure atmosphere for the border residents.
He regretted that our country is regularly facing challenges as a result of the nefarious designs of our hostile neighbour who regularly indulges in cease fire violations. While referring to the recent visit of Home Minister Rajnath Singh to the various border villages, Vibodh said that this visit has helped a lot in building confidence among the residents of border villages.
Vibodh further added that each and every step will be taken to mitigate the sufferings of the border people as their security is in fact country’s security. While reacting towards the various demands raised by the people who met MLC during this tour, Vibodh said that he will take each and every issue with the concerned departments and ministries for their early redressal.
