JAMMU, Mar 31: Corporator from Ward 51, Raj Kumar, political and social activists, Narinder Gupta (Koky) and Parveen Gupta re-joined BJP at Party Head Quarters Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta welcomed back Corporator, Raj Kumar, political activists, Narinder Gupta, Parveen Gupta and scores of their supporters into the BJP family and termed them as assets to the Party. He said they must prove themselves as an asset to the BJP.
He said Raj Kumar is a dedicated social worker and had been instrumental for the developmental activities in Ward 51. He further said doors of the party are open for nationalists and who want to join it. Party will welcome them whole-heartedly. “BJP is not a place for fulfilling personal ambitions. For BJP, politics is a medium of social service, he added.
He said apart from Government, every individual should make contribution for social cause. A political worker can do this in a better way. He highlighted various developmental works executed during his tenure as MLA and said the development works shall be continued for already approved projects. The workers in BJP are backbone to the party and every worker has a different role to play, Gupta added.
He cautioned the general public about the false propaganda the rival parties play during elections. Every citizen of the area is aware of the face of Congress. Gupta appealed the voters of the area to support BJP candidates and ensure their victory and make Gandhi Nagar Constituency “Congress Mukt”
MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, while welcoming them said, it is due to the clean and good governance of the Narendra Modi Government and the able leadership of party chief, Amit Shah that the BJP has become the single largest party in terms of primary membership. He also lauded the role of Raj Kumar and Narinder Gupta for their active participation in the development and social activities.
He said now every worker of Gandhi Nagar Constituency had to intensify the campaign to make sure his victory in the Parliamentary elections. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were, Vinay Gupta, Ankush Gupta, Kulbir Charak and Nayan Gupta, Councillors from Gandhi Nagar Constituency among others.
MLC Vikram Randhawa, State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi and district president, Baldev Billowria also welcomed the entrants and said by joining back of Raj Kumar along with others shall boost to party.
