Coordination, understanding, anticipation ‘mantra’ to win team games: Aggarwal

JAMMU, Dec 10: Coordination, cohesiveness, understanding and above all anticipation are the ‘mantra’ to win team games as these games involve interdependence at each and every step.
This was stated by Director General Youth Services and Sports while flagging off State contingent in the disciplines of basketball and taekwondo Under-17 boys and girls for its participation in the 59th National School Games to be held at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh from December 13 to December 17, 2013.
These Games will be organized by the Government of Chhattisgarh in collaboration with School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
The contingent comprised of 46 members including 41 players and 5 officials.
While interacting with the players, Mr Aggarwal said that the National School Games are held after a galaxy of competitions held at the school, district, division and State level, adding that it is through these events the talent is tapped at the grass-root level.
Hoping for good performance from the players of the State contingent, the DG Sports said that the teams have been prepared after a series of competitions in prolonged coaching camps.
