RAJOURI, Oct 12: The police has unearthed a new modus operandi of some peddlers who are receiving consignment of banned drugs in parcels with one such consignment has been seized in Rajouri with three local people have been detained in connection with investigation.
Official sources said that after receiving an information, a police team led by SHO Rajouri Aejaz Ahmed Wani under the supervision of Deputy SP Headquarter Rajouri Mudassir Hussain recovered banned drugs.
During this operation, three local men have also been detained who collected this parcel. During search of this parcel received in courier, 800 banned tablets and capsules were recovered. The accused have been detained in connection with investigation of this case who have been identified as Mosin Khan, son of Manzoor Hussain from Chandimarh and at present D C Colony Rajouri.
The police said that the smugglers of banned drugs were using this new modus operandi to get the consignments but this has been busted by police.
