Connectivity essential for nation’s development: Manoj Sinha

NOIDA, Dec 23:
The Union Communications Minister Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that connectivity plays an important factor for the physical and digital developments of the nation, adding that villages also need to get smart like smart cities.
Mr Sinha who was addressing the ‘Ghazipur Samagam’ here, said that within four years, WiFi services have been provided at all the Ghazipur railway stations, infrastructural developments in 100 schools in the district, three National Highways(NHs) including 19 and 29 connected with Ghazipur and an over bridge was constructed over river Ganga, from Ghazipur to Varanasi that lessened the commuting time(51 kms).
“Other than that these developments, there was also a major push in education and medical sectors which helped the district to outgrow in the past four years”, the minister added.
Mr Sinha is a three-time Bharatiya Janata Party member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha and represents Ghazipur in the Lower House. (UNI)
