JAMMU, June 6: Senior Congress leader, Varun Magotra along with his team of activists distributed dry ration packets among needy people in Panjtirthi area of Jammu city, here today.
The distribution of ration was carried out in Ward numbers 1 & 2 in the presence prominent persons of the locality. The locals appreciated the gesture of the Congress leader and his activists to reach the needy families in this pandemic situation.
While distributing the ration among needy people, Magotra appealed the conscious citizen to come forward and contribute as per their will to reduce the agony of the needy people who are in distress due to economic hardships and also urged the Congressmen of all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir to render their services in whatever way to help the distress people.
Magotra also suggested the party leaders, activists to pool their resources to help the common people who are facing economic crisis and are on the verge of starvation.
Ward president Ram Magotra, Raj Kumar Sodhi, Naresh Verma, Vishal Khajuria, Bhanu Rajput and Arjun Sharma were part of team who distributed dry ration among people along with Congress leader, Varun Magotra.
