Congress capable to address grievances of all sections: Soz

JAMMU, Apr 3: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Saif-ud-Din Soz said that Congress is the only party which is capable to address grievances of all sections of the society.
He appealed the people to vote and support for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Madan Lal Sharma.
Addressing a function organised by former Minister Yogesh Sawhney and Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) Pranav Shagotra, Mainul Haq Secretary AICC, incharge J&K was also present on the ocassion.
He said that Congress earlier has proved how to serve wishes and aspirations of people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Calling upon the Jammuites to defeat divisive forces for the development of Jammu, Soz told that these forces have their own nefarious designs which can mar the development process which has been initiated by our coalition Government.
He further told that these divisive forces were hell bent upon segregating people on communal and regional lines but Congress being a secular and progressive coalition partner in the Government will not allow any such forces to hinder the progress of our State and we will always work for the peace and prosperity of the State.
Speaking on the occasion, Yogesh Sawhney said that the Congress is contesting the elections on development plank. He said that the coalition Government in the State and the UPA-I and II have taken a large number of steps to ensure the overall development, in all spheres of the people of country and the State.
Pranav Shagotra in his address said that extension of 73rd amendment of Indian Constitution in J&K is biggest achievement of Congress in the State. He said that the creation of new Administrative Units in the State is a land mark decision of the coalition Government.
Among others present were Hari Singh, Manmohan Singh, general secretaries PCC, Rajeev Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Heera Lal Abrol, secretaries PCC, YV Sharma, President, Chamber of Commerce, Om Chopra DCC President, Urban, Pawan Dev Singh and Rajinder Kumar block presidents Jammu East, etc.
