Jammu, May 16: Reacting to the announcement of Union Home Minister regarding ceasefire during the holy month of Ramzan in the State, JKPCC has said that any peace initiative which can help to restore peace and normalcy is all right but all necessary precautions need to be maintained so that the forces which are inimical to peace and harmony do not take advantage of the same.
In a statement JKPCC chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma has said that Congress has never been hurdle in any initiative which helps to restore peace in the State but BJP being part of the Government in the State and besides ruling at the Centre it stands exposed for its dual standard. He said Centre and State Government must keep close vigil and take necessary precautions so that the initiatives of peace are not misused, by the forces inimical to peace.
