JAMMU, July 28:  Mula Ram (former Minister) and Vice President J&K PCC accompanied by Hari Singh Chib, senior Congress Leader and Rajni Bala, president Block Congress Patta Paloura today visited Sharika Vihar, Roop Nagar, Lower Muthi and Paloura areas to take stock of the damages caused by floods.
They interacted with cross-section of people and found damages and loss of property to the households, shopkeepers and other inhabitants of  Sector 1 of Sharika Vihar Lower Roop Nagar where the properties of the people like TV, beds, utensils, ration were damaged in addition to damage of their houses.
Mula Ram assured the gathering that he will take up the matter of damages of the whole Block Bhalwal and also demanded compensation for damages and free ration at least for 6 months to the sufferers and the farmers whose crops were damaged due to late rain.
Others who accompanied Mula Ram were Ch Deva Singh, Hoshiar Singh (Youth Lok Sabha general secretary, Bhagat Ram, Pathania (mohalla president),  Govind Ram, Rakesh Sharma, Surinder Sharma, J L Kaul, Dev Raj, Tilak Raj and Tarun Vaid.
