JAMMU, July 7: Government today ordered the transfer and posting of 23 doctors including CMO Jammu, Medical Superintendents, Deputy Medical Superintendents and Block Medical Officers (BMOs) across the Union Territory with immediate effect.

Among the senior-level changes, Dr Harbaksh Singh, who was serving as Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as In-charge Deputy Director (Headquarters), Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, against an available vacancy. In his place, Dr Narinder Bhutyal, who was serving as In-charge Deputy Medical Superintendent (MS), Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has been posted as In-charge CMO, Jammu.
Dr Sanjay Arora, who was serving as In-charge Deputy MS, Bone and Joint Hospital, Jammu, has been posted as In-charge Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu whereas Dr Salma Bhat, who was serving as In-charge MS, Trauma Hospital, Kangan, has been transferred and posted as In-charge CMO, Shopian, against an available vacancy.
Dr Usha Kiran Sidha, presently In-charge District Immunization Officer (DIO), Reasi, has been posted as I/c BMO Akhnoor while Dr Jatinder Mehta (on deputation to NHM) will also hold the additional charge of Additional Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Dr Samina Nazir, under orders of transfer as I/c BMO, has been posted as In-charge Mobile Unit, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, against an available vacancy while Dr Vishal Raina, In-charge Deputy MS, Government Hospital, Sarwal, has been posted as I/c Dy MS Bone & Joint Hospital, Jammu.
Dr Sharmeen Mushtaq, serving as Medical Officer, AD Rainwari, has been posted as I/c Dy CMO Srinagar whereas Dr Vijay Kumar (on deputation to NHM) has been transferred and posted as I/c BMO Batote. Dr Harbinder Singh, who was In-charge BMO Ramnagar, has been posted as In-charge BMO Dansal against an available vacancy.
Dr Pankaj Gupta, MO at SDH Ramnagar, shall look after the charge of BMO Ramnagar. Dr Riyaz Ahmad Wani, Medical Officer, Block Pulwama, has been posted as I/c BMO Pulwama whereas Dr Nazir Ahmed Dar, who was In-charge BMO Pulwama, has been posted as In-charge BMO Shopian against an available vacancy.
Dr Opinder Singh, I/c BMO Batote, shall look after the charge of BMO Banihal. Dr Naseem Chouhan, MPHW School Gandhi Nagar, has been deputed to the J&K AIDS Control Society on standard deputation terms.
Dr Sania Afzal Wani, JLNM Hospital Srinagar, has been posted to the Red Cross Society, Srinagar. Dr Umar Nazir Munshi, a Medical Officer posted at Block Kupwara, has been deployed to the MAC International Airport, Srinagar.
Dr Neelofer Akhter, UPHC Lal Bazar, has been deputed to the Children's Hospital, Bemina. Dr Fozia Gul, on deputation to JKMSCL, has been deputed to PHC Kakapora.
Dr Feroze Bhat, presently posted at PHC Hardpanzoo, has been transferred to PHC Trehgam. Dr Aga Nadeem, Gousia Hospital Srinagar, has been posted at PHC Vilgam (Kupwara).
Dr Kanchan Bhagat, a Dental Surgeon, under order of transfer to PHC Haria Chak (Kathua), has been posted at SDH Khour.
Meanwhile, while issuing another order, Government has transferred and posted 30 doctors including Medical Officers, Dental Surgeons and a few Consultants.
