REASI, Apr 20: A Continuing Medical Education (CME) session was organized at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspecialty Hospital (SMVDNSH), Katra.
The session was organized by Department of Critical Care as one of the activities of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) Jammu Chapter, under the guidance of Dr Vanilla Chopra (HoD & Senior Consultant, Department of Critical Care, SMVDNSH).
Dattatreya KS (Facility Director of the Hospital), Dr Saumya Ahuja (Medical Superintendent) and senior Consultants of the hospital from all departments attended the session.
Dr JP Singh (Senior Consultant, Neurosurgery), Dr Arun Sharma (Senior Consultant, Gastroenterology), Dr Rajan Gupta (Senior Consultant, Urology), Dr Deepak Pathania (Senior Consultant, Nephrology), Dr Pooja Gupta (Senior Consultant, Neurology), Dr Vanilla Chopra (HoD & Senior Consultant, Critical Care) including other senior faculty members of the hospital were also present.
During the session, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, currently working as a Medical Officer in the Hospital, delivered a presentation on the topic “Role of Balanced Crystalloid in Critical Illness and Surgery”.
The session concluded with vote of thanks presented by Dr Vanilla Chopra.
