JAMMU, Aug 10: A civilian was injured in a mine blast on the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri sector of Rajouri district this afternoon.
He has been identified as Mohammad Sharief, 60, son of Hassan Mohammad, a resident Thathali, Keri.
He had gone to forward area for grazing cattle and accidentally stopped over the mine, leading to a blast in which he was injured.
The victim was evacuated from the spot and admitted in the District Hospital, Rajouri, where he was undergoing treatment under the supervision of Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr Mehmood Hussain Bajar. His condition is stated to be stable.
