The incursion by Chinese Army along the Actual Line of Control (ALC) in the Indian territory of Daulat Baig Oldi (DBO) sector in eastern Ladakh is a matter of concern and it demands a befitting reply from Indian side.
The incursion should serve a wake-up call for Indian authorities and stir them to strengthen the security of the country by going for modernisation of Indian Army and equipping it with latest sophisticated weapons. Sometime back, the Defence Minister had admitted that Chinese troops are modernising their army at a fast pace, and efforts need to be made to catch up with them.
To do so, it is essential that the Defense Ministry goes for indigenous production of weapons and finalising agreements with other countries for purchasing arms.
China should be resisted at all costs and it should not dare to intimidate us as and when it likes. Only a strong nation will make China step back.
