JAMMU, Mar 23: Dr Sanjeev Kumar Chadha, Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu today conducted an extensive tour of several areas in Winter capital of the Union Territory and issued instructions for proper water supply to the people in view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
Accompanied by Er Naresh Khajuria, Superintending Engineer, PHE Mech, Urban Circle, Jammu and Er Surinder Kumar Abrol, Executive Engineer, PHE City Divison-I, Jammu, Chadha conducted an extensive tour of New Plot, Subash Nagar, Paloura, Janipur, Roop Nagar and Muthi area. He issued on the spot instructions to all field staff to ensure proper water supply to the people and monitor the same in Jammu city.
The Chief Engineer also directed the field staff to plug all leakages as and when the same occurs or reported besides disinfecting water supplies regularly and maintain cleanliness and hygiene by hand washing etc.
