JAMMU, Sept 10: Chief Engineer, R&B Jammu, Hamid Sheikh today dispelled the rumors about damage to the bridges on river Tawi.
“The SMS about damage to the bridges over river Tawi connecting Bikram Chowk with old Jammu city, which was in circulation during the day today, has no basis”, he said when approached, adding “the SMS has been circulated by some unscrupulous elements”.
He further said, “I have personally inspected the bridges after the recent flash floods and both the bridges are safe as such there is no need to be panicky”.
