JAMMU, Mar 8: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested a Northern Railways official while accepting Rs 10,000 graft from parking contractor of the Railways, at Railway Station Jammu.
He has been identified as Ajay Gupta, posted as Station Superintendent, Northern Railways, Jammu and a resident of Nanak Nagar.

A CBI team arrested Gupta as soon as he accepted Rs 10,000 from the parking contractor of Railways for removing impediments from hassle free parking of the vehicles.
Soon after the arrest, the CBI conducted searches at residence and office of Gupta and seized some documents.
A case has been registered against him for further investigations.
