JAMMU, Sept 11: Carmel Convent Higher Secondary School was conferred as the best State Board School under two categories of ‘Value for Money’ and ‘Parents Choice Award’ by the leading education portal, Education Today during North Educator’s Summit and Merit Awards, 2018 held in at Taj City Centre, Gurugram.
The survey included schools in the state of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Jammu & Kashmir.
The awards were vote based that comprised of votes from parents, jury and other parameters such as academics, holistic development, innovative teaching, school safety, infrastructure, co-curricular activities and other surveys done by Education Today team.
The school coordinator Harpreet Kour along with Preetika Abrol received the awards on behalf of the school.
Expressing satisfaction, the school Principal Sr. Maria Swati congratulated the management, staff and students for their remarkable contribution in the school’s achievements. She also thanked all the parents, well wishers and ex-students for their timely support for all these years.
