Sir,
We appreciate the bold and clear statement made by Dr Farooq Abdullah about J&K State of being part and parcel of India, which can never be part of Pakistan. It is his clear and factual position conveying to Pakistan and to their hunchmen in Kashmir, who are on the regular pay role of Pakistan. It is after a long-long time that any party leader of Kashmir has given the factual statement of Kashmir’s accession to India and warning to other parties in Kashmir to appreciate the factual situation of Kashmir and revise their misgivings, to fall in line with the Nation. Time has come now to call a spade a spade and truly join in modernization of J&K State in a frank way. This will save the innocent people from misleading especially budding youths of the State.
It needs to be admitted that the statements of Dr Sahib during this season has imposed confidence among the people of the State to face the militancy and other mischievous elements of the State with courage and determination.
Of course it may not be out of place to mention here that Dr Sahib did not speak a word about the Kashmiri Pandit migrants who are facing miseries for the last 26 years.
I hope Dr Farooq Sahib being amongst the tallest leaders of the nation would ensure our rehabilitation with honour and dignity.
