RAJOURI, Nov 7: Three shops were burgled by some unknown thieves at Kotranka in district Rajouri last night.
Reports said that thrives struck in a hardware shop belonging to one Shabir Ahmed Khan at Kotranka tehsil headquarters and decamped with Rs 85,000 cash. They broke opened yet another Medicines’ shop of one Pawan Kumar and decamped with Rs 35000 cash in the same area. From the Karyana shop of one Jan Mohd, they stolen Rs 80,000 while Rs 25,000 from the stationary shop of one Nazarat Hussain.
The theft took place between 1 and 3 am last night and the shopkeepers came to know about it in the morning. They lodged FIRs in this connection with Kotranka Police which has started investigation.
