Bukhari reviews development of judicial infrastructure

SRINAGAR, Oct 6: Minister for Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari today convened a meeting to review development of judicial infrastructure at Handwara.
The Minister said that all measures are being taken for upgradation of judicial infrastructure in Handwara, adding that Rs 6.98 crore have been earmarked for the project out of which Rs 1.75 crore stand released.
During the meeting, possibility of transferring some of the Revenue Complex land to the Court Complex was also examined.
The Minister said that present Government is working to provide a fully developed and well equipped Court Complex to the people of Handwara. He said the complex will be holistically developed that will address all needs.
With regard to the existing infrastructure in the complex, the Minister said that there is need to utilize the land judiciously in order to accommodate all the required facilities.
MLA, Kupwara, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Secretary, Law, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Secretary, Revenue, Mohammad Afzal, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Rajiv Ranjan and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
