RAMBAN, July 22: A Junior Engineer of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) received injuries when a portable LPG cylinder exploded in Khow Bagh area.
As per police sources, a JE of BSNL namely Adil Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmed of Bijbehara District Anantnag was cooking food on portable LPG cylinder (petromax) at his rented accommodation in Khow Bagh area when it accidentally caught fire and later exploded.
Adil received injuries in the accident and was rushed to District Hospital Ramban, from where he was later referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Ramban Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
