UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: A BSF Jawan was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his house at Jonu Barta, Udhampur.
The deceased, identified as Mangal Singh, son of Mohan Singh, was lying dead in his room. He had come home on leave and according to police sources, head injury was apparent cause of death. However, cause of injury could not be ascertained, police added.
On getting information, police shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem after which the same was handed over to family members for the last rites.
Police have also registered a case under Section 174 RPC for further investigations.
