Bring Congress back to power: Bhalla

JAMMU, Oct 29: Minister for Culture, Horticulture and Housing, Raman Bhalla today asked the people to bring back the Congress to power to carry out the development in every nook and corner of the three regions of the State.
Minister said this while addressing a public gathering in Bagh-e-Bahu area of Gandhi Nagar constituency today.
He said that Congress party has done a lot to redress the issues of the people of the State.
Minister added that the Congress has upgraded the educational infrastructure in the State by upgrading various schools and colleges in the State. Due to upgradation of the educational infrastructure, the students, who used to travel long distance to carry forward their education, are getting the education facilities at their doorstep.
He further disclosed that the power infrastructure in the State has also been improved by the party especially in the rural and backward areas of the State.
“Various water schemes have been introduced by the Congress to provide best drinking water facilities to the people at their doorstep”, Minister said, adding that the road connectivity in various far-flung areas of the State has also been improved during the past six years tenure of the Congress party.
Congress party is the only genuine party which can protect the rights of the people living in three regions of the State-Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, he added.
“Congress will again play a key role in forming the next Government in the State”, Minister said and asked the people to make best use of their vote in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the State to elect their representative, who will raise their issues at appropriate platform for redressal.
He termed other parties like PDP and BJP as dream sellers and hollow slogan mongers. Minister said that these parties just appear during the election time and after elections, disappear for rest of the remaining period.
Seeking vote for the party, Minister said that the people should participate in the elections with zeal and zest and to give befitting reply to those, who just befool the people on the name of caste, creed and culture.
