Brig Suchet Singh to head Pt Prem Nath Dogra Trust

JAMMU, June 14: A five member Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Trust was constituted in its function here, today with appointment of Brig (retd) Suchet Singh as its new chairman.
The Trust was constituted by its outgoing chairman and a veteran social activist of Jammu Mulkh Raj Pargal.
The other members of the Trust included BJP Secretary, Aseem Gupta, its district president Subash Jandial, Advocate S S Nanda and Jay Ram Ji.
On the occasion Mulkh Raj Pargal was honoured for the dedicated services rendered by him to society and country. The speakers paid rich tributes to him for his dedication to national cause and said that he is a role model for others.
On the occasion former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Prof Chaman Lal Gupta was the chief guest while the programme was presided over by Dr Rama Kant Dubey patron VHP.
In his address Prof Gupta also highly eulogized the role of Mulkh Raj Pargal and termed him a selfless leader for whom national interest is always supreme.
He, while paying rich tributes to Late Pt. Prem Nath Dogra said he was a great visionary who struggled hard for unity and integrity of the country and it was result of his leadership that J&K was fully merged into Indian Union. He said Mr Dogra was totally opposed to any division on the basis of region, religion and caste.
Prof Gupta said Pt Prem Nath Dogra was highly critical of ignoring Jammu and Ladakh regions and also the people of Pak held areas in granting due representation when the Constitution of the country was being framed. He also recalled the role of Mr Dogra in  Praja Parishad movement.
Dr Rama Kant Dubey while recalling the services of Pt Prem Nath Dogra said that society needs a leader like him this time also. He regretted that leadership failed to fulfill the vacuum created by Dogra’s death. It was his leadership skill and dedication that he became the president of All India Jan Sangh and entire society felt proud of him.
He also recalled the services of Mulkh Raj Pargal who he said also followed the footsteps of Pt Prem Nath Dogra and sacrificed his every thing for national cause. He said that people especially youth should get inspired by Mr Pargal who at the age of 94 is still serving the nation and society selflessly.
Brig Suchet Singh also paid tributes to Pt Prem Nath Dogra and also wished a long life to Mr Pargal. He said the younger generations should get inspired by the dedication of Mr Pargal.
