UDHAMPUR, May 13: A teenaged boy was crushed to death by a speeding tipper at Military Hospital Chowk in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Rahul, son of Buchha of Birma Pul, Udhampur.
The mishap took place when a tipper bearing registration number JK14B-4555 hit and crushed the victim who was walking on the roadside. He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Even as Police seized the vehicle, its driver managed to flee immediately after the accident.
