JAMMU, Feb 1: Bagh-e-Bahu police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 12 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police team rescued 12 bovine animals from the truck and seized it, while the smuggler(s) managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 14/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started.
