JAMMU, Sept 18: J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) today postponed all exams and practicals of Class 10th and 12th in Kashmir province in view of prevailing conditions in the Valley due to floods.
BOSE chairperson Renu Goswami told the Excelsior that the conditions were not conducive for the examinations in Kashmir and, therefore, the BOSE has decided to postpone them till further orders.
The practicals of Class 10th and 12th of BOSE were scheduled to begin on September 22 while examinations were to start from October 10 and 12 respectively, Mrs Goswami said.
She added that fresh dates of practicals and examinations would be communicated as and when the situation improves in Kashmir.
