JAMMU, Oct 10: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam True Art Production and ESRM today presented musical play ‘Gau-Daan’ in its Saturday Musical Play Series here at Janipur.
The play was written and directed by M L Dogra, renowned writer and musical play director. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra.
The play featured the songs ‘Gau Humari Mata Hai, Humara Unse Maa-Bete Ka Nata Hai’, ‘Koi Bole Ram Koi Allah Bole’, and ‘Choti Choti Gaiyaa Chote Chote Gopal Chota Sa Mera Madan Gopal’ which were sung by renowned artists and students of BLSKS.
The music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal. The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the play were Raju Bajgal, Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Sant Das, Rahul Wanchoo, Dhruv Pandit, Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma, Shaksham Khajuria, Sunil Kumar, Rajni Gupta and many others.
