FATEHPUR: Claiming that the ban of Rs 500 and Rs 100 notes would act as a blessing for the country, Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said those who are opposed to demonetisation are actually hoarders of black money.
Addressing a rally as part of BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Uttar Pradesh ahead of Assembly elections, Singh said the Opposition has been describing the Government’s decision of ‘notebandi’ (demonetisation) as ‘nashbandi’ (sterilisation).
“Those who are saying it as ‘nashbandi’ are actually hoarders of black money. Those who indulge in corruption, their life blood have been cut,” he said here.
The Home Minister said the decision of demonetisation was a bold decision and it was a fight against black money.
“It is also a fight against terrorism, it is a fight against extremism and this fight will continue,” he said. (AGENCIES)
