BJYM to organise 2 major events: Arun

JAMMU, Sept 14: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today announced that it would organise 15-day-long “Sewa Pakhwada” to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on September 17.
The BJYM has planned two major events, including blood donation camps and a tree plantation drive, to observe “Sewa Pakhwada” across Jammu and Kashmir Arun Prabhat, State president BJYM said while addressing a press conference at party headquarters here, today.
He said Sewa Pakhwada will be celebrated throughout the country from September 17 to October 2. The celebration will be marked by various activities and events in all organizational districts of the BJP.
“It is our great fortune and opportunity to celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi”, he said. India under PM Modi’s dynamic and strong leadership has received global recognition and position.
Prabhat said, “Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s life is synonymous with service, dedication and sacrifice. His life is a journey on the path of nation building. His journey is a Mahayagna being performed for the supreme glory of Maa Bharati”.
On September 17, a massive blood donation drive will be organised by the BJYM in which lakhs of Yuva Morcha Karyakartas are expected to donate blood, he said, adding “Efforts will be made to ensure all blood banks are filled up to their capacity”.
Flanked by State vice-president BJYM Atul Sharma and State media in-charge, Chetan Wanchoo, Arun Prabhat said the BJYM teams will also create a directory of blood donors, wherein the blood groups of all donors and their contact numbers will be recorded.
“The idea behind this exercise is to maintain a database for providing efficient and timely help to the patients in their hour of need,” he said, adding the registration of all donors would be done through an online link provided by the BJYM Central team.
Prabhat added that the BJYM will also organise mega plantation drives throughout Jammu and Kashmir on September 25, on the occasion of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Ji’s Jayanti.
A large number of trees are proposed to be planted on this occasion to promote an eco-friendly and sustainable way of life. He appealed the youth across the nation to also pay a floral tribute to Maa Bharati on that day.
