KATHUA, June 10: Keeping momentum of blood collection during COVID-19 today blood donation camp was organised by BJYM at Club Ghar Ramkot in Billawar which was inaugurated by former Dy CM, Dr Nirmal Singh inaugurated here, today.
The camp was organised by BJYM, Pahari Zila Billawar under the leadership of Er. Jaswinder Singh Jassi district president, BJYM Pahari Zila Billawar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nirmal Singh lauded the philanthropic initiatives of the BJYM, saying that the Yuva Morcha is doing the service for the mankind during the past many years by organizing free blood donation camps and other social events. He appealed the youth to generously donate blood for saving the precious lives.
Urging the other social and religious organizations to make collective efforts in bringing reforms in the society, he said that the social evils like dowry, drug addiction, and female feticide are spreading fast, which need to be weeded out to ensure a prosperous and progressive future.
He stressed the need for educating the younger generation about the rich Indian values and culture, so that they remained connected with their roots and contribute for the development of mankind. Advocate Pankaj Basotra prominent BJP leader was also present on the occasion was the first person who voluntarily donate his blood .
