JAMMU, June 2: Bharatiya Jan Sewa Sansthan (BJSS) organized a free medical camp at Government High School, Sure Chak near Flaye Mandal, here under the supervision of its working president Anil Padha.
About 200 people were benefited from the camp. During the camp the doctors examined the patients and provided them free of cost medicines. A team of doctors headed by Dr Koushlya Sambyal, Dr V S Manhas & assisted by Dr Prerna Ganju, Dr Nisha Pandita & Dr Adlti Gati examined the patients.
The camp was closely supported by Bee Enn Hospital & Hrdeydeep Ashram under the supervision of Dr Subash Sharma & the BJSS ambulance was pressed into service for the patients. It was assisted by a team of volunteers led by Rajesh Bhasin.
The BJSS has also held a meeting of its volunteers at Samba presided over by Anil K Padha for constituting a district level committee of the organization and to start extending free medical aid to the senior citizens and disabled persons. Mr Padha also delivered a motivational lecture on voluntary blood donation at Sur Pharma laboratories at Samba which was attended by the staff and officers of the laboratory in the presence of Ashtosh Sharma, Deputy Controller of Civil Defense.
