UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to sweep the ongoing District Development Council (DDC) elections stated Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP president while he addressed the a series of election rallies at Moungri, Lander area of Pancheri seat in district Udhampur.
Ravinder Raina said that the political environment is in complete favour of BJP candidates in these DDC elections. He said that public is appreciating the works done in the short period of Modi Government and comparing it with the 70 years of Congress led Governments. He said that with the abundant resources, we could have progressed way ahead of other nations but due to the lack of political will and the shrewd character of the earlier political heads, our nation as well as our society suffered a lot.
Raina added the erstwhile J&K State has even suffered a major loss due to lack in the infrastructure and the modernization which resulted in the dependence of the State on the Central funds for every meagre need. He said that J&K has the potential to develop as the mineral hub, cultural site, tourism destination for medical & religious tours and many others but it failed miserably in every such field and suffered at the hands of separatists and terrorists actively glamourized by these Gupkar Gang members.
Raina asked everybody to show the power of public, reject these subversive Gupkarians and support the BJP candidates in these DDC elections for a prosperous and new Jammu & Kashmir.
