KATHUA, Nov 27: Former minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today lashed out at the BJP for yet again making false promises to people in its so called vision document for DDC polls.
Addressing public gathering in Kathua today in favour of party candidate Anu Dogra, Bhalla said that so far they have only befooled people with false promises. Being the ruling party at the Centre and having secured heavy mandate in the elections from Jammu region, he blamed BJP for its total failure to address the genuine problems and concerns of the people. He said the Government at the Centre and UT administration took several decisions against the wishes and aspirations and interests of the general people, taking advantage of the situation on account of Covid crisis, forcing the people to protest and come on roads, despite all odds.
Accusing the BJP of disregarding the aspirations of the people of J&K and ignoring the burning issues of masses in J&K, former minister said that the ruling party had failed to inspire millions of the new UT. The party had given wide publicity to public issues during 2019 elections with high hopes generated amongst various sections of society which eventually ended in smoke, said Bhalla. He added that the so called earlier Vision document had caused huge disappointment not only amongst the common masses but had also democratized the die-hard supporters of the BJP regime.
Reacting over BJP’s vision document for DDC polls  promising 70,000 govt jobs, Bhalla said BJP playing politics of deceit and indulging in rhetoric. He said that not fulfilling the promise of providing 2 crore jobs annually is enough to prove the lies of its leadership. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his colleagues had made tall promises of creating 2 crore jobs per year before the Lok Sabha polls of 2014 but even after more than six years they are unable to create employment opportunities for lakhs of unemployed youth. He  said that people have understood the game plan of the BJP which is only to hoodwink the masses and doing nothing substantial on ground.
Prominent among those who addressed gathering include former MLC, Balbir Singh, Rajnesh Sharma, Pankaj Dogra, Narinder Khajuria, Ravinder Pal Singh, KV Singh, Kulbir Singh Lucky, Sarpanch Harbansh Singh, Satpal, Paramjeet Singh and others.
