BJP surrendered to PDP only to remain in power: JDC

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Apr 15: Jammu Development Council (JDC) has strongly criticized the BJP for its complete surrender to PDP, whereas PDP is playing a safe game to achieve its Kashmir centric hidden agenda. The shifting of AIIMS allotment from Jammu to Kashmir is a glaring example of the same, which was entirely meant for Jammu.
Addressing a meeting, the president, JDC Inderjeet Khajuria said that the central leaders of BJP have totally surrendered to Mufti Mohammed Sayeed only to remain in power, whereas the State BJP leaders, MLAs and Ministers have no courage to keep their point of view and ground situation of the Jammu in front of Narender Modi and Amit Shah.
Expressing his wonder over the criminal silence adopted by the State BJP leaders including MLAs and Ministers, he said that their silence is pointing something else, which will lead them to a point of no return and people will definitely teach them (BJP leaders) lesson like Delhi Assembly polls of February 2015.
Recalling the 2008 Baba Amaranath land row historic agitation and the agreement made between the Government and Sangarsh Samti, he said people of Jammu were expecting from BJP to get agreement implemented in letter and spirit but it is quite unfortunate that after grabbing the power in State BJP forgot the same and innocent youth implicated in false cases are still facing trials in different courts.
Making a fervent appeal to Jammu Bar Association to lead the movement for retaining the AIIMS in Jammu, he said that JBA should come forward to lead the public as all the political parties of Jammu are agitating in this issue as JBA has its branches at every distinct and tehsil level, besides it is legal luminary with best past track record.
