BJP strictly adhering to teachings of Swami Vivekananda: Kavinder

JAMMU, June 4: Continuing with distribution of raw grocery and other essentials to the needy persons in Gandhi Nagar constituency, former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta along with district president BJP, Vinay Gupta, BJP district general secretary-Ankush Gupta, Rahul Kumar-corporator, Narinder Koki and Rachit Khosla distributed dry ration kits, face masks and sanitizers to over 100 needy families at Valmiki Colony Ward-20.
The ration was handed over by Red-Cross Society Jammu for distribution among needy.
On the occasion, Kavinder said that BJP follows the teaching of Swami Vivekananda who gave the mantra of ‘Nar Seva Narayan Seva’ and BJP strictly adheres to this principle. Those who serve the needy are the true philanthropists. All live for themselves, those who come forward to help others are true human beings. Serving the needy persons in a selfless sense is the true service of God irrespective of any caste, religion, class or community as humanity is not bound by race, religion, country boundaries, said Kavinder Gupta. The BJP does not believe in creating divides on the lines of religion and caste, that’s the strength given by RSS, so we are serving the people selflessly. He appealed to the general public to come forward and help the needy person in the current situation.
Gupta also invoked Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya who had said “Both from the national as well as human point of view, it has become essential that we think of the principles of Bharatiya culture.” “And the fundamental characteristic of Bharatiya culture is that it looks upon life as an integrated whole.” By either donating to the needy people, or contributing in PM CARES Fund or J&K Relief fund or adopting needy families shall be a step forward in strengthening India socio-economically. Gupta said, “We all know that after the mitigation of COVID-19 from the country, We shall be requiring more and more funds for restructuring the economy, so everyone has to play a vital role by contributing in any of the way, Government notifies in future”.
Gupta congratulated and complimented Vinay Gupta and his team of district Jammu for reaching out to nearly 8500 families and distributing the groceries and other items to them. On the occasion Safai Karamcharies were honored as a mark of respect and acknowledgement of their services in the prevailing situation. Rahul Kumar Councilor informed Kavinder Gupta and other dignitaries that almost all the needy families have been provided with the dry ration and other necessities in the Ward 20 thrice amid COVID-19.
